Kevin is a very welcoming host, the room is perfect in a quiet but beautiful waterfront area. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby.

This is a place I visited on my first trip to Kyoto. The prices are very reasonable, and the facilities are spotlessly clean. The bathtub and interior are maintained to look brand new. Also, the owner is incredibly kind. On our last day, when we mentioned we had luggage to take to Kyoto Station, they personally drove us there. On top of that, if we needed anything or had any issues, they responded immediately when we contacted them via KakaoTalk. It is a place I definitely want to visit again if I go to Kyoto next time. I highly, highly recommend this place to all Koreans!!! You absolutely must go~~~~

My partner and I came on the recommendation of a friend who had been there before, and we stayed for four nights. We give it five stars, and we'd give it more if Google would let us. Kevin treated us wonderfully and made our stay perfect. He didn't overlook a single detail. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, and there are shops nearby (laundromat, convenience store, and restaurants). It's also relatively close to several points of interest in Kyoto, within walking distance (about a 30-minute walk). There are also two subway stations nearby, which makes it very conveniently located. We'll be returning to Kyoto soon and will definitely stay here again. If you're reading this: Thank you so much, Kevin, we hope to see you again soon!

Kevin is a fantastic host. He certainly seems to have very busy days. He communicates via WhatsApp and always responds very quickly. He took care of transferring our luggage and shared various activity ideas with us. Thanks again, Kevin. The rooms are quite spacious with a kitchenette and are very well located.

I highly recommend for both the location and the room size

The rooms were clean. The small waterway running along the road in front of the property made it very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was well-maintained. It was better than accommodations I've stayed at in Osaka that cost two or three times more. I highly recommend this place for accommodation in Kyoto. The owner was also very friendly.

A beautiful stay in the Hatsune Guesthouse. Kevin communicated clearly where to find the accommodation and instructions on how to access which made our life easy. We were greeted with lovely treats as it was Valentine’s Day and bottled water after a long journey. Quiet and clean and in a beautiful location.
