Free Your Mind

During the four-part series Free Your Mind: Church, Slavery, Reparations, Committee June 30 July 1 Gouda and Keti Koti Zeeland will engage in conversation with participants about the relationship between church, slavery and the impact of this past on the present. The meetings offer space for knowledge sharing, reflection and meeting around questions about history, inequality, reparations and social change.
Through lectures, discussions and interactive formats, participants explore how historical structures and beliefs still influence daily life. The focus is not only on the past, but also on the question of how reparations, connection and justice can take shape in the future.
Participants include Janneke Stegeman, Linda van den Broek and Kofi Ogún. The final meeting will take place at the Zeeuws Museum.
