via Stay22About this place Kefli Wine Bar
Kefli is a small, wine-focused bar near Fountain Square and the closest thing Baku has to a queer-adjacent regular: it is gay-owned and openly gay-friendly, with a young, international crowd that doesn't look up when you walk in. It isn't a gay bar — Baku has none that advertise as such — but it is an easy, unbothered room where LGBTQ+ visitors tend to feel comfortable.
Expect a relaxed, conversation-led evening over a good list of wines rather than a big night out. As everywhere in the city, keep public displays of affection low-key: the welcome inside is genuine, but discretion on the street still matters.

Beautiful atmosphere and great staff great selection of food and wine. Come and enjoy.
This little shop is really great! They have a wide selection of wines to choose from, and the local wines are delicious.
Amazing venue, serving local small plates and wine. We visited twice during our visit to Baku. Recommend making a reservation in advance if you want a table.
It's a very pleasant place; we found a table by chance, but it's better to make a reservation. The wines are delicious, and we ordered pâté and a cheese platter, all of which were very tasty.
It has become one of my favorite places in Baku. One of the features I like the most is that they serve only local wines. I think a place where local wines are served is very valuable not only for us but also for foreigners visiting the country. On the other hand, the food we ordered was also quite amazing: appetizers in a set, peanut chicken, baked camembert. Each one was excellent, completely recommended.
