via Stay22About this place KaDeWe
KaDeWe is Berlin's big department store, the kind of place that pulls in tens of thousands of people every day. Seven floors of designer clothes, homewares, and luxury goods, plus two whole floors just for food. You could spend a day here, easy.
It's right on Wittenbergplatz, which means you're only minutes from Schöneberg's gay bars and clubs. So, if you're out exploring queer Berlin, KaDeWe slots right into your day.
The place is massive, sure, but it's also practical. You'll find everything from a new cashmere sweater to a tube of toothpaste. And when you need a break, those dining spots and food halls are there. It's not just shopping; it's a Berlin institution, going strong for generations.

KeDeWe is alright. The best part is the food court. Personally, I find the department store too elitist. That's why I only come here every two or three years.
It has lost some of its luster.
