I stayed at this hotel as part of a company event and was generally satisfied with my stay. I would particularly like to commend the friendliness and helpfulness of the service staff. Both at breakfast and throughout my stay, I found the staff to be very courteous and professional. There was a slight initial confusion at check-in, as my personal credit card was also requested. It seemed to me that this wasn't necessary for other participants at our company event. However, the misunderstanding was quickly and easily resolved. The hotel is located near the train station. As is common in many areas near train stations, there are some issues. Nevertheless, I felt that the hotel was situated in one of the nicer parts of the district. My room was generally fine. However, the light in the bathroom flickered, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Since I didn't mention these issues during my stay, I can't say how the hotel would have responded. The breakfast was a big plus for me. Compared to another four-star hotel where I had previously stayed, the selection was significantly higher quality. The vegetarian options, in particular, were varied and appealing, offering something for everyone. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with very friendly staff and an above-average breakfast. However, I see room for improvement in the room checks and some details of the amenities.

Just checked into The Pure for a 2-night stay. Reception at front desk was lacking and because I booked through a third party and not Marriott directly, receptionist did not even care about my Bonvoy status. I received no recognition or welcome as a lifetime gold member. (Yes I know I was not going to receive points or nightly credit due to booking method.) No welcome drink offered as mentioned by other reviewers. Design is minimalist without a doubt. Room is small, or "cozy" as is now the industry keyword. Bedding/Duvet does not fully cover the width of the bed (I have a single booked.) Room was clean apart from someone's hair on the bedsheets. Bathroom appears clean and includes a single shower stall with no tub. Location is about a 5 minute walk from Frankfurt's main train station and is the key benefit of the Hotel. The immediate neighborhood is what can be expected around a major train station but that is outside of the hotel's control. If you need to be near the hauptbahnhof and are here for a short stay, you could do much worse. Would I return....that remains to be seen.

Ideal for a short weekend stay in Frankfurt. A 2-minute walk to the train station and about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. The room wasn't particularly large, but it was clean. The service was also very friendly.

Location is very pratical. The breakfast is very good (Chicken wings, very good potatos and bacon, the pastries are also good). The rooms are very comfortable with bottles of water + coffee available and a minibar. The whole hotel is nice with good decoration.

The rooms are clean and hotel staff are good. Unfortunately this hotel is located in a very bad area of town with homeless and substance users on the streets right outside the hotel. Will not stay here again as it feels unsafe to be walking anywhere in this vicinity.
