Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromsø

Central location close to the harbor, cafes and restaurants. The room is also clean. The only issue was the blackout curtains in midnight sun of June. If you have sleep troubles, it could be hard to sleep without an eye mask.

Ok bed.. clean, but otherwise very scratched

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is convenient and well-situated, especially for visiting the city. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. We also appreciated the complimentary hot water available on the ground floor, a nice little extra. The hotel has a bar-restaurant and on-site parking. However, we found the restaurant prices quite high, and the parking is not free. We also found the rooms very hot. Despite several attempts to adjust the temperature, it seemed to remain stuck around 23-24°C, which can be uncomfortable for sleeping. Overall, it's a good hotel, and we had a pleasant stay.

spent one night here, one of the cheapest options in tromsø and right in the city centre, so it was an easy decision. my flight ended up delayed by about two hours and i was genuinely worried about arriving after midnight and finding nobody around, so i messaged ahead. they replied immediately and reassured me the place is always open, which was exactly what i needed to hear after a long travel day. arrived around 11.30pm, check in was smooth and effortless. the room was small but incredibly cosy, and the bed was genuinely one of the most comfortable i slept in on the trip. was out within minutes, which after everything was the greatest luxury imaginable. shower and toilet were great too. a few things i appreciated: there is a bag for clothes you no longer need, which as someone who has thrown away perfectly good items while travelling before, is a thoughtful touch. also used the storage room for my backpack after checkout, though i will admit i spent the day mildly anxious after reading some reviews mentioning theft. everything was fine when i came back, but i would avoid leaving anything valuable in there just to be safe. overall a great little place for the price. would absolutely return if i find myself in tromsø again.

It was my first time at this hotel. I really liked everything. The price, the service, the cleanliness – everything was top notch. I'll be back. I highly recommend it.

Once again a nice stay here. No frills and no thrills. Simple and straightforward. If you are just going to stay overnight and travel on early the next day, this hotel without breakfast is absolutely perfect. Yes, they have breakfast, but it will be a kind of packed lunch, or you can buy a baguette or yogurt. Quite ok. Small rooms, but when you are just going to sleep it is perfectly fine. Good desk and enough power outlets, that is a plus on business trips. And nice staff.

A truly pleasant hotel – clean, slimming, and fragrant. The mattress is very comfortable. The service is very friendly. I think if there were a hot breakfast option on site, it would be a truly perfect place. ❤️
