Smarthotel Tromsø

The rooms strongly reminded me of a Harry Potter broom closet – unfortunately, far too small. The double bed is only accessible from one side, so one person always has to climb over the other, which I found very inconvenient. For two people, it's very cramped overall, and it's hardly possible to spend any time comfortably in the room. There's no wardrobe, and with luggage, the already small space becomes even more uncomfortable. The rooms are really only suitable for showering and sleeping. There's no on-site parking. We parked in a nearby underground garage (approx. 300 NOK per night). On the plus side, the location is central – just a few hundred meters from the main shopping street with its many shops. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great central location and a very good breakfast, with a light, modern feel throughout the hotel. The only downside is the room size – quite compact, better suited for shorter stays.

Cheap and best accommodation in the heart of Tromso. Very central to all locations. Although the room is quite small, they serve excellent breakfast and their service is very good.

Small but perfectly ok room, go downstairs if you need more space, no it's enough

The hotel was clean and the receptionists very nice and friendly. Even if the room was clean, was really too small for two people, there was no space for opening the suitcase

AMAZING option for a solo traveler, or groups of friends who needs their own room. 100/10 for the breakfast; 10000/10 service. The whole entire staff is amazing, kind, resourceful, and respectful. Such a convenient walk to tours and town. Will be staying here again when I come back!

A hotel very close to the city center. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff are very friendly and polite. Very satisfied!
