A charmless hotel with a pseudo-shock touch

It has a chocolate fountain at the entrance, which is a great temptation. It's located in Lausanne's upper town, surrounded by restaurants and shops.

The hotel is located in the upper part of Lausanne. To reach it without taking the metro, you'll need to climb a rather steep hill, which can be tiring, especially with luggage. I booked a single room, but upon check-in, I was assigned a disabled-accessible room. The shower has no stall and is on the floor, the bed is quite uncomfortable, and the pillows aren't ergonomic, so much so that I slept poorly throughout my stay. Despite the air conditioning system being advertised as self-regulating, it was quite hot in the room, and I couldn't achieve a comfortable temperature. I didn't take advantage of the hotel's breakfast: there's a Coop restaurant a few steps away where you can eat conveniently and affordably. Overall, the value for money isn't satisfactory, considering CHF 150 per night. Pros: The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The chocolate fountain, a small, delicious treat that's a hallmark of the hotel, is also much appreciated.
