Zleep Hotel Lausanne-Chavannes

Excellent value for money. The rooms aren't huge and have limited storage space, but for the price…

The hotel is located near the airport, a 30-minute walk away. It's not luxurious, and not all-inclusive. It was just an overnight stay. We had a flight in the morning, so we rented a room for the night, for two. The room was small, no refrigerator, and breakfast was not included. The room itself was clean and pleasant, with a toilet and shower. The price was reasonable. It was quiet. Those who aren't used to austerity would be better off finding another place.

A brand new hotel for those that need to put their heads down and have a good shower. Minimal finish but clean and tidy. Beware! The car park is charged by a separate company and the hotel gets no concessions. Expensive parking.

I gave one star due to terrible WLAN/WiFi connectivity. It is unacceptable that in 2026 that they can't have better coverage across the whole building... it doesn't really help that it's a Faraday cage/concrete prison with little no cell coverage. All the more reason to put up a MESH network throughout the building. It cut out about every ten minutes in my room, infuriating when on a video call with family half a world away. Everything else is fine, which is why I gave it 4 stars for the rest of the amenities (rooms, service, and location).

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the smiling and helpful receptionists at the reception. Rooms modern and clean.

I recommend this hotel because it's very quiet and safe. It's well located, near the Rennes metro and train station, and only 7 minutes from Lausanne. There's also a bus stop right across the street, which is very convenient. The staff at reception are all very kind and welcoming. The rooms have excellent soundproofing, so you can rest well without any noise. There's a lovely breakfast area, as well as a pretty garden where you can sit and relax. There's also a small lounge with soft lighting, which is especially pleasant in the evening. There's a gym below the hotel, which is very useful. In addition, the hotel is located just a few meters from a quiet road, so the area is very peaceful. I was very satisfied with my stay and I recommend this hotel.

This is the last time I'll stay in this hotel... very poor service

The hotel, in a new area, is a 5-minute walk from the Crochy metro stop, which is about 20-25 minutes from the center of Lausanne. The windows are very well insulated. The price is reasonable. There's an Aldi and Aligros nearby. For the room, I suggest a wastebasket or something similar. On the other hand, the sliding door, which serves both the toilet and shower, has a watertight seal that is noisy and lets in a little water. What's also great is the free Lausanne public transport day pass for two zones. For a short stay, this hotel is fine.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I was kicked out after a friend came for a one-night emergency stay and unfortunately knocked on the wrong door. I tried to calmly explain the situation to the manager, but he refused to speak to me and wouldn't listen to anything I said. This behavior is completely unprofessional. I received a very poor welcome from the start, and his attitude was disrespectful and contemptuous. He clearly implied that, coming from a social services background, I should consider myself lucky to be there, which is unacceptable and humiliating. In the evening, there's no one at reception, which is also a problem if you need anything. The staff's behavior is truly appalling: no respect, no listening skills, no professionalism. In addition to that, the living conditions were far from acceptable: - Waking up in the morning to persistent knocking about maintenance work, as if the police were showing up - Questionable cleanliness, with sheets still dirty even after being changed - Toilets that only worked half the time - Shower that overflowed and splashed water everywhere - Broken blinds - Air conditioning that was completely unstable (too hot then too cold) Frankly, a very negative experience from beginning to end. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
