Glad to have parking nearby, but without a discounted rate it's not very useful. Breakfast was very average. Really not great.

Really nice location - in the middle of the old town. Literally everything is reachable by foot. Though: Poor hospitality regarding f.e. charging 7 CHF for Tap Water, especially while the faucets didn‘t properly work in the hotel rooms due to a boiler failure. Mediocre all in all, but the Bar-service was a really nice experience :). If you got low to none expectations regarding a „Swiss 4 Star Hotel stay“ - highly recommended! But: I do have to say the individual staff is really nice & friendly - though maybe a little clueless.

nice room at the corner with two sides of windows, clean. location is good, 5 min walk to the train station. not much of service but good enough, breakfast is somwhow limited to the basics. there are quite a few restaurants nearby to try.

We had a great stay at the Fassbind Hotel in Lausanne while visiting for our son’s hospitality school tour. The room design was especially well done—clean, modern, and highly functional, with elevated details like the in-room coffee/tea setup and supplied mini kitchen that felt intentional rather than standard. Our son loved the gym and sauna, and the in-house Italian restaurant was excellent—an easy, delicious option after a full day. As a family paying close attention to hospitality right now, this stay reinforced how much thoughtful design and small details matter. Overall, a very positive experience and a hotel we’d happily recommend in Lausanne.
