About the event
Today, October 11, is International Coming Out Day! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
But above all, we wanted to take this date to remind you of one essential thing: you have absolutely no obligation to do so. Coming out is your story, and it belongs to you 100%. ✨
We often hear a lot about this step, so here's a little reminder of what really matters:
🕰️ It's whenever you want, and to whomever you want: There's no "deadline" or perfect moment, except yours. You choose the people with whom you feel safe to share this.
🛤️ It's at your own pace: It's not necessarily a big announcement all at once. It can be a journey that happens in stages, little by little, and that's completely ok.
🎢 All emotions are valid: Let's not lie, it can be scary and a difficult moment to go through. But don't forget that it can also be an immense liberation, a magnificent step filled with joy, relief, and love. 💖
Whether you are "out", thinking about it, or prefer to keep it to yourself for now, you are valid, you are loved, and you have your place in our community. 🫶
If you have doubts, fears, or simply need to talk about it, don't forget that the Rainbowlution team is here to listen to you with kindness and without judgment in private messages, during our events, and especially during the Perm' à Nous.
Take care of yourself!
