Marty's Martini Bar
Marty's Martini Bar in Andersonville isn't for dancing; it's a gay bar with a serious martini habit. Inside, it's all warm mahogany, dark and masculine, which makes the place feel both intimate and a little buttoned-up. It's a spot for when you want to talk, not shout. The bartenders here know what they're doing. They seem to care about making a good drink, and they'll chat you up a bit too. That's probably why it pulls a steady crowd even on weeknights, though weekends can get packed. Andersonville, on Chicago's north side, has long been a go-to for the city's LGBTQ+ community. Marty's fits right in, a polished alternative to the usual club scene. Check their Facebook page for hours before you go.Features

Demanding that everyone orders in ONE line really sells the vibe of a bar and not a cattle processing facility. Rock on. Wish you the best!
For a bar that specializes in martinis I was really shocked they used cheap liquor…I didn’t request higher caliber but they didn’t even ask!
Always a cool vibe and great drinks at Marty's!
Love you guys but maybe some noise cancelling panels or something, it's so loud.
The entire staff of Marty’s is what makes it such a cozy and welcoming space that keeps me coming back. The character and charm that they all bring and share with their patrons feels personal and sincere. Hayden, specifically, always goes the extra mile to meet guests where they are at and genuinely take care of those who walk through the door.
Great place to go hang out but have an issue paying 15+ for well Martinis, great drinks but the hangover is all I needed to know
