Marty's is a small martini bar on Balmoral Avenue in Andersonville. It is listed here as gay-friendly, but in practice it draws a largely gay, mostly older neighbourhood crowd. The room is all dark wood, the drinks are the point, and the volume stays low enough to talk. There's no dance floor. The entire staff of Marty’s is what makes it such a cozy and welcoming space that keeps me coming back.
