About the venue
Kinselas is a bar on Bourke Street at Taylor Square, in a building that was once a funeral parlour, with ornate art deco ceilings kept from that era. It was a long-time fixture of the Oxford Street gay strip and today draws a mixed crowd, so treat it as gay-friendly rather than a gay bar…
“Excellent value for money; you can get a steak or burger for just AU$15. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and it's great for gatherings with friends or a casual drink, though it can get a bit crowded on weekend evenings.” — 澳洲外围看主页Outcall&Incall, Google
“This place is so full of love.. I've been to Kinselas a few times over the last 12 mths and everytime it's such a vibe.. The crowd it draws in are adorable. The lighting is sublime and the staff & managment are so kind and friendly with genuine warmth..” — J C, Google
