About this place イーホテル東新宿

E Hotel Higashi-Shinjuku is a mainstream business hotel at Kabukicho 2-chome, on the Higashi-Shinjuku side of Shinjuku. Expect compact Japanese business-hotel rooms. It is listed as gay-friendly, not as a gay hotel. Google gives it 3.6 from nearly 500 reviews, which is average for this type of hotel. The practical draw is location. Higashi-Shinjuku station on the Oedo and Fukutoshin lines is close by, and Shinjuku Ni-chome's gay bars are roughly 15–20 minutes on foot or a short metro hop. Book through the website or call 03-5287-3588.

Convenient location, great service. Super tired from a business trip to Tokyo, so I tried Qingya Pavilion's in-room service. The girl came directly to the room, no strange charges, super attentive service, perfect privacy, and even though I don't understand Japanese, it went smoothly. I went straight to sleep afterward. Highly recommended! TG @meiyou06 #Osaka #Tokyo #JapanIn-roomService #Osaka #JapaneseBubbleBath #OsakaCulture #Tokyo #TokyoIn-roomService #JapanAffairs

THE EXPERIENCE: We'ved hyped up with shinjuko vids of convenience but in fact shibuya is more convient and preferable for all the tokyo spots. PROS: *located next to station (A1) *surrounded by convenient store and resto *price is competitive ave(80-110usd) CONS: *breakfast package (coffee+bread) from tully, no exclusive lounge for guest. *room is tight as always expected *looks lil dirty specially in restroom *restroom size 1m×2m/3ftx6ft 2 person never fits. (No romantic shower lol) *road noice TIPS & ADVICE: Don't take the breakfast pax Best time to visit: Best for city access Accessibility/Parking: Hadn't seen parking area, 2 elevators from ground to frontdesk then hop on to frontdesk to rooms to 13. Must-try/Look out for: Look out for your self hitting on tight bathroom lol VERDICT: It's a 50/50 but pricing is one of the selling point

It's located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle, and it's not too far to walk back from Shinjuku Station. There are also plenty of places to eat along the way.

Good points: - Comfortable double bed (for single occupancy) - Cold water (a sign of good quality water) - Refrigerator was cold - Late check-out (11:00 AM) - Location: Close to the station, bento shop, and convenience store Not so good points: - Toilet bowl is too small - Too cramped to even do morning exercises - Only powdered green tea available (bringing your own tea or coffee drip bags is recommended)
