LOVING exhibition closes
About the event
This is your final weekend to experience LOVING at Qtopia Sydney before we bid farewell to this beautiful exhibition.
If you haven’t had a chance to walk through it yet, or just want to revisit it one last time, this Sunday is completely FREE to visit, courtesy of our friends at cityofsydney!
We’re wrapping up this incredible run to make way for a deeply special, exciting new community tribute exhibition... one that we’ve not-so-subtly been teasing over the last couple of weeks. 😉
Pop in this weekend, and help us say goodbye to LOVING.
About the venue
Qtopia Sydney is a queer history museum and cultural centre at 301 Forbes Street, Darlinghurst. It opened in 2024 inside the former Darlinghurst Police Station, where people arrested at the first Sydney Mardi Gras in 1978 were held…
“Great theatre. Wonderful location. Enjoyed the museum and the fact the original prison cells from the police station that it once was is preserved” — Eva McArdle, Google
“A big shoutout to the dedicate volunteers! They are very forthcoming and passionate in sharing information regarding the exhibition.” — jinggwennlinn, Google
