Lesbian Vampyres to Watch Out For (Singer Island)
About the event
(Custom artwork by Alison Bechdel of Dykes to Watch Out For and Fun Home fame.)
Vampires (or earlier versions of life-sucking undead creatures) appear in the mythologies of almost every culture. This workshop will trace the history of vampire paradigms in modern literature, with a focus on how female vampires fit in - and have been erased.
