About the venue
The Rock is a long-running gay neighborhood bar on North 7th Avenue in the Melrose District, the strip of central Phoenix where several of the city's gay bars are clustered…
“Nice sunset view, but be aware that this free activity is a popular one and may get crowded. Be sure to arrive minimally 30 minutes before sunset. If the top parking lot fills up, head to the next one down. Bring something to sit on if you will be waiting for awhile.” — truffles808, Tripadvisor
“Great view of the valley. It’s a short hike up from the parking area. (Nice to avoid the crowds)” — vacation-wallah, Tripadvisor
