Hotel Zone

Excellent hotel for our trips to Rome! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The rooms were cozy and the bed was very comfortable! Our room had a beautiful terrace, and we ate breakfast outside! Centrally located for those going to the Olympic Stadium.

In 2022 Me and My mom travelled to Rome. We stayed at the Hotel Zone. Now we love to walk, so this Hotel was found in the city where the Roman’s lived on a daily basis and we walked from the hotel about 1.5 hours to get to the heart of the city. Worth it, because we basically saw everything this way. It was about 2 hours to the coliseum. We did this everyday for 5 days. The hotel was inexpensive due to location, amazing breakfast, and very comfortable beds and rooms. Me and My mom took separate rooms; that had a door between us. So we could close the door between us and have our own room. ( Genius living) Privacy but still together. I would definitely book at Hotel Zone again.

Everything top notch

I have no complaints about the quietness of the area, the building, and the common areas. The staff is friendly, and the amenities are adequate. Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the room was inadequate, and above all, the bathroom fittings in the room assigned to me weren't 4-star. It's a shame.

The price-performance ratio is decent. It could use a bit more Italian flair. Room size, furnishings, and condition are okay, though it's a bit noisy. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special. The hotel isn't centrally located, but it's in a quiet area. Transfer to the city center takes 20-40 minutes, depending on your destination.

Is it a good hotel? Very quiet and the people are very friendly! I was lucky enough to work with Giordana, and she was always there to help! The location is a bit of an issue, but knowing how to get around using public transport was great, and Giordana was very helpful there too. Thank you!

Rooms are fine The beds are hard though. The bathroom is dated but certainly neat and clean. If you want to take a hot shower, be sure to turn on the tap when you ARE going to undress.

We stayed three nights. Everything was very clean, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful! Good food, a generous breakfast for every taste. Cleanliness was a 10!!! It would be 5 stars if only there were amenities like bicycles or other services available to guests, so they could get around without having to constantly pay for tickets. A nice relaxation area, like a pool, would also be nice! Overall, a nice hotel.

This hotel is not suitable for visiting Rome. To get to the tourist sites, you have to take the train and two metro lines. Some taxis wouldn't pick us up or would take us because of the distance. If you're planning to visit the city center, don't stay here; that's my recommendation. Rome is already a city where you'll want to walk a lot, and if you stay here, it'll be even more walking. And to top it all off, one night the metro was closed due to a strike, and we had no way to get back. We almost had to sleep in Piazza di Spagna. On the other hand, I've never seen a 4-star hotel with such worn-out furniture and a TV that's so small it looks like a computer screen. The outdoor facilities aren't bad, but the breakfast is very basic. It would take you three days to learn how to use the light switches. You can hear people in the hallway and the room above. I don't know, if you're looking for a hotel to relax, maybe this is it… it's in a residential area. But definitely NOT if you're just visiting. The only good thing to highlight is the friendliness of the staff.

The lobby and breakfast room are beautiful, although the croissants are a bit dull. Excellent parking. The location is quiet and not busy. The rooms need updating.
