The Hague Pride isn't just another party. It's the Netherlands' government city's annual LGBTQ+ celebration, happening right in front of the Binnenhof parliament complex and the Hofvijver lake. That backdrop matters.
This Pride has a political edge other Dutch events don't. You're celebrating in front of the buildings where Dutch laws get made, in the city home to the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court — places directly involved in global LGBTQ+ rights.
Expect a street parade through the city center, a festival in the main squares, and evening events at The Hague's gay venues.
The Hague's international population — all those diplomats, court staff, NGO workers — gives it a more global feel than most Dutch city Prides. In 2026, it gets an extra boost from Amsterdam WorldPride. Many international visitors will just extend their trip to catch The Hague's event too.
