Sapphic Cinema

SAPPHIC CINEMA : A new queer film club~ running every other month, we’ll be screening classic and lesser-known sapphic or sapphic-adjacent films in the cozy book bar at accidental theatre. To kick off our inaugural meeting and the start of Black history month, we’ll be watching RAFIKI: a drama following the growing romance between two women amidst political pressures in Kenya. Doors open at 7:30 and we’ll be starting the movie at 7:45. Afterwards, the room will be free for chatting and connecting with your fellow film-loving sapphics. Please be aware that the bar will not be open so bring your own drinks ~ we’ll have snacks but bring your own if you wish and whatever else you need to feel comfortable.
