I love this place - if you want excellent service and outstanding drinks go here! The service is insane.

Waited for the food about 50 minutes. The carrot which recommended by the waiter was not good at all, way too sweet, I only had a bite, the chicken and cauliflower were very good, the monkfish was good but the chickpeas sauce was way too salty, the bread was good and I was surprised how much beef fat would have got on the bread if not asking for having it on the side. Most of the restaurant which has good service would have taken it off the bill but the waiter only said, oh the taste was not for everyone… wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Unreal experience! The welcome, the setting, the most amazing servers and chef’s! So much knowledge and passion in this place and it all ends up on your plate!!!! We booked a table for 2 and were lucky enough to get a seat at the pass…. What an experience!!!Being able to chat to the chef while eating their food was amazing!!! The food was. Exceptional, We have eaten in Michelin restaurants and this was better than them all! Thank you for a such a beautiful evening, all the superlatives in the world wouldn’t do this meal justice! I have no reservations that whatever you order will be delicious but the carrot is an exceptional experience….. is it a meat?is it a sauce? Noooooo….. it’s a carrot 🥕 🤩! We had various dishes fish/veg /meat and as you may have already worked out it was all incredible! Big shout out to Rhydian who entertained us all evening and I hope we didn’t get on his nerves with all our questions 😂

Thank you for the amazing service from the bartenders and David. We really enjoyed our cocktails and had such a wonderful evening. If you like a Negroni, you definitely need to try the beetroot Negroni — absolutely delicious! Great ambience, beautiful décor and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

The food was really delicious. Without exaggeration, definitely in the top 5 of the tastiest meat I have ever had in my life. The service was also truly exceptional; Manja made us feel really comfortable and she is very friendly and good at her job. I complimented her as well. Apparently, it was only her second day. Truly incredible!

We went here on a Monday which was perfect as it wasn’t too busy and it allowed the atmosphere to be warm. Our waiter and waitress were so lovely and helpful! Whoever worked Monday 3rd of August they were fabulous! Food was yummy and delicious, would highly recommend for a date night or a place to show off some great food of Cardiff!!

So booked this before going to a gig at the castle for my wife and I as part of our 25th Wedding anniversary. From start to finish we had the best time. Every single one of the staff who served us were brilliant. They talked us through the menu and made excellent recommendations on wine and food. We ended up going for some nibbles and the 5 small plates with a bottle of wine and then cocktails to finish. We pushed the boat out so spent quite a bit: £120. However everything was absolutely lovely. The food was fresh and different and became a real talking point during the meal. The wine was excellent and the cocktails were some of the best we have ever had. Atmosphere was vibrant and good. So, if you’re looking for something different and maybe a bit special- defo check this place out.

Creative food with a twist. The carrot was amazing as was the steak. We enjoyed the veggie options. The service was excellent. Worth doing Parallel and Pasture over two nights as they are both exceptional but also very different.

We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. Treated warmly by the staff. The food was exceptional both times with interesting flavour combinations. Thanks so much xx
