About the event

Get ready for one of Tom Social’s biggest hiking adventures of the year as we take on the spectacular Warrie Circuit at Springbrook National Park!
Tucked away in the Gold Coast Hinterland, this incredible hike takes us deep into lush rainforest, past cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear creeks and towering canyon cliffs.
Along the way, we’ll discover some of Springbrook’s most beautiful scenery, including the Meeting of the Waters, where rainforest streams converge deep within the valley. Expect plenty of photo opportunities, a refreshing dip if conditions allow and a well-earned lunch break surrounded by nature.
It’s a day of fresh mountain air, spectacular scenery, great conversations and plenty of laughs with your fellow Tom Social adventurers!
Is this hike for me?
This is one of our longer Tom Social hikes, covering approximately 14–17km over 5–6 hours. You’ll need a reasonable level of fitness and confidence walking for several hours.
The Grade 4 track includes uneven terrain, creek crossings and some steep sections. Parts of the track can also get muddy and slippery, especially after rain, so sturdy shoes with good grip are a must!
You don’t need to be an expert hiker, but you should be comfortable tackling a challenging bushwalk. We’ll be enjoying the scenery and taking breaks along the way!
Meeting point and carpooling
Meet at 8.45am at Canyon Lookout, Springbrook National Park, ready to begin the hike at 9.00am.
Carpooling is available from Greenslopes Bus Station (Barnsdale Road), departing at 7.00am sharp. Highly recommend carpooling to this location.
We aim to finish the hike by 3pm, with an estimated return to Brisbane by 4.30pm, depending on the group’s pace, weather and track conditions.
