9:00 am – 11:00 am Long Hike: Explore the trails around Brock University, Decew and Twelve Mile Creek. Stay afterwards to celebrate Bruce Trail Day with the NBTC.
9:15 am – 10:45 am Geology Hike: As part of our Bruce Trail Day celebration at Brock University (LOT 2) we will host a geology hike led by the Niagara Aspiring GeoPark. Come at 9am to check out our booths and displays, head out for a geology hike at 9:15, and come back to celebrate with us. Hike will be accessible for anyone, including new hikers.
9:30 am – 11:00 am Biodiversity Hike
10:00 am – 11:15 am Family Friendly Hike: All children welcome! Mom or Dad carry your little ones if necessary.
9:45 am – 11:15 am Rainbow Hike: Join the Niagara Bruce Trail Club, Bridges Niagara Immigrant and Refugee Services and PFLAG Niagara for a Rainbow-Welcome Hike as part of Bruce Trail Day, starting on the campus of Brock University.
10:30 am – 12:00 pm Fall Nature Hike: Join us for the NBTC Nature Hike series to learn more about the biodiversity along the Niagara Escarpment.
There will also be a booth with volunteers from the Club as well as representatives from pflag Niagara and Bridges Niagara so come over and say hi!
