About the event

About the Event:
Join us as we honor our combined work to end HIV, celebrate our successes and remember those we have lost. We will be hosting a World AIDS Day ceremony to recognize the importance of World AIDS Day, and keeping awareness about HIV in Oregon alive. We will also be honoring those that Douglas County have lost to HIV/AIDS by reading the names of local friends, residents, and community members. Snacks and drinks will be provided, all are welcome to attend.

About the venue

HIV Alliance is the HIV and sexual-health nonprofit for Lane County and much of southern Oregon. Its Eugene office is at 1195 City View St and is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm…

“The HIV Alliance has helped me tremendously with my medical needs. I am so thankful for their service. They help a large amount of people. Every time I have gone into the HIV Alliance, they have treated me with the upmost kindness, respect and care. In Lane County, I will say they are the leaders of the medical industry.” — Dylan Ledford (Dill), Google
“The Alliance has helped me for the past 22 years and this program is such a blessing. They helped me pay my power bill when I was up for shut off. The Alliance has gone above and beyond to help us clients. Donnie Beer is a great case worker, but all the staff is very helpful, kind and caring.” — Kevin Bennett, Google
