From baby queer to old-school diva Coming Out Day: at QueerHub, we have mixed feelings about it. Visibility can be powerful, but no one has to come out, choose a label, or explain themselves. However, we seize every opportunity for a party. That's why on Saturday, October 10, we dance towards Coming Out Day together during YOUNG & OLD!
No boxes, but fat basslines. No judgments, but glitter. Gender is a continuum, age is a suggestion, and identity is a creative process.
In a city full of bubbles, screens, and swipe fatigue, truly looking at each other might be the ultimate act of resistance. We break with isolation and a box mentality. From 18 to 108 years old: this evening melts the distance between generations and identities like snow before the disco lights.
DJ Queerelles provides the music. Put on your most dangerous platform shoes or roll in on a gold-sprayed scooter.
Dress code: come as you are, or as you would like to wake up tomorrow.
Look each other in the eye. Embrace diversity. The revolution is in the encounter.
