1st Annual Roller Disco on The Commons!

Lace up your skates and get ready for an evening of retro vibes, disco beats, and good times. The North End Business Association is excited to present the first Retro Roller Disco on The Commons, with support from Halifax Regional Municipality, Quinpool Road, and Hard Patch! For one night, the Oval becomes a roller disco, with lights and live DJs that make people want to move! Come for a few laps, come for the whole night, or just come to watch from the side with a warm drink! We'll be giving out prizes for the best costume! Sequins, satin, tube socks, headbands, flares, whatever "retro" means to you, we want to see it. There will be a photo booth on site to capture your Roller Disco look! Bring the group, bring the kids, bring the friend who swore they weren't dressing up. Want to hear more? Head over to gonorthhalifax.ca/rollerdisco. Rain date Oct. 10.
