Desert Lodge Palm Springs

This was such a beautiful place it was truly magical a great place to take your family. My family and I had a wonderful time I would 100,000% come back!!

Had low expectations, but this place is BAD. Arrived and the room was dirty (un-made bed, used soap, etc) so called the front desk and they aggressively told me the room was cleaned and I was mistaken. Finally got them to agree to come clean while we left. Even after cleaning, the room still had greasy surfaces and a dirty feeling. You can see from photos- our door lock electrical was exposed, multiple cockroaches , and a random door that was nailed & screwed shut. Also the hot tub and pool were closed/drained - which is a major amenity to have closed without notice.

Room not clean at all

Avoid this dump! The first room i was given hadn't been cleaned. Unmade beds toilet paper on the bathroom floor etc. The 2nd room had been cleaned. Exposed outlets w/ out plates. Missing light cover exposed bulbs. No smoke alarm. Roaches. 1 coat hanger. Beds and bedding were okay. At no point was the fact that the Ice machine wasn't functioning or the Hot tub being empty with the exception of Palm branches. Overflowing dumpster area, trash around the building. There was a room w/ Sheriff sticker on the door some rooms w/ broken windows. The owners or managers did have a beautiful white Range Rover & Lexis to class it up. I understand motels in the area get old but this looked ignored. Pictures don't lie.

I'm staying at the Desert Lodge and it's probably the best motel for the price. The new owner is super sweet and just took on the property and made sure everything is perfect. If you need anything he's there no problem. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. I was also very scared to be by myself out here and I feel safe out here sitting by the pool. Oh and he is dog friendly place as well

Absolutely the WORST place my partner and I have EVER checked into. We actually deemed it uninhabitable & checked out within 15 minutes of being in the room. Tha latch on the front door was pretty much nonexistent, making it unlockable, which was a major safety issue for us. The sheets were not even fully clean & you can see all the past yellow stains on the sheets & the padding. The frame itself looked as if termites had eaten more than enough from it, & there was tagging on the head of the bed. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly for a very long time, & there was a random door on the other side of the room that had a space on the bottom that looked like you could see another room on the other side. I tried to get my money refunded for the 15 minute stay there but was refused that request. Shady hotel & I recommend staying away from here at all costs.

Broken doors leaned against the wall. Door handle parts on the bathroom sink. Water damage visible on the ceiling . Clean sheets, nice bed, price is right.

Place its really dirty and in bad condition, fridge does not work, AC is full of dust, both of my beds were badly stain of something brown, ice machine does not work with posible meldew. a non smoking room smells like cigarettes everywhere, in my whole weekend i didnt get the room clean a single time, no clean towel and toilet got clog. To make this worse place charge me extra to day I check in just for getting double twin bed instead of a king bed.
