NewB Night

A mixer hosted by Colorado’s bisexual community to help welcome in newly out bisexual, queer, and LGBTQ+ folks. Everyone under the rainbow, at every stage of being out, is encouraged to attend. We’ll have food and drinks. Coming out is hard. For a lot of us, it felt isolating, even scary. Then you finally work up the nerve to go to an LGBTQ+ event, and it’s a packed bar or a big club, and somehow that feels just as intimidating. And dating/hookup apps aren’t exactly community either. This night is for changing that. BConnected is all about community, and we’re starting a new tradition of hosting “NewB Nights” twice a year to welcome in the newly out bisexual or queer people in an intentional way. Join us at my house in Longmont for a relaxed evening of snacks, drinks, and good conversation. Help create a softer landing for people who are newly out, and a chance for the rest of us to say: hello, I see you, it gets better. We’ll have folks who just came out, folks who’ve been out for decades, and everyone in between. Come mix, mingle, and share a little wisdom (or get some).
