I LOVE THE RANCH CLUB
Fun
There are only a couple food items available. The hamburger and shoestring fries were good. You order them separately. Got a soda and was allowed a refill. The place was pretty empty in the early afternoon after the Memorial Day weekend. The wait person was busy chatting with some guys on the other side of the bar, so she didn't check back with us as soon as she should have. But she was prompt to take our order and she was nice The owner needs to put some money into reupholstering the vinyl benches. They are ripped pretty bad. Also the tables benches and chairs are all tall which is not very good for people with any kind of disability or who is height challenged. I have a bum leg and it was hard for me to get up the big step to sit on the bench at the table. When I was seated, the table came to the middle of my chest so I basically was eating with my face in my plate. The food was good and the prices were fair but I won't go back there because the furnishings are not comfortable and are not well taken care of.
This is a great neighborhood spot. Been around a while (featured in a movie!) and currently has a terrific team; shoutout to Tenje who works hard and never lets you go thirsty. $2.50 drinks at happy hour, very solid bar menu (I like their cheese burger and crispy fries), pool tables, darts, slots and karaoke nights. Outdoor seating has fire pit and TVs. If you’re close, drop in and support a local. Plenty of parking out the back.
Well ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between, the best burger this side of town is in this bar. It has what you wish the burger at the fair tasted like and you can buy a good priced beer or two to boot.
