grotto presents: Fragments Magazine Launch & Sappho-ween
About the event
Join grotto in celebrating the launch of brand new lesbian fine arts & photography print magazine, Fragments, with this super special goddess-inspired Halloween party. We’ll be taking over ShyShy, a gorgeous sapphic-owned cocktail bar in Chelsea, for a late night that includes a goddess portrait station, performances by drag king Ginger Ail, flash tattoos by Two Percent, a DJ set by DJ Daali, Pollinator Spirits cocktails, and much more. Thanks to our friends at Lyft, your ticket will also include a 50% off code (up to $10) for your ride to the party, which we’ll be sending via email the day before.
This issue of Fragments is an Ode to Sappho, and so is this party, so please come dressed as a god or goddess of your choosing, whether you and your partner opt for an Eros & Psyche moment, your friend group shows up as the Muses, or you decide to channel Hathor or Hecate.
If you opt for a ticket without a magazine copy, there will still be chances to purchase one at the party.
PS. For all grotto events, your name is your entry once you purchase your ticket! There is no physical ticket to show 🙂
