Breakfast is great workers are friendly ready to serve
This has been the most unsatisfactory lodging experience I have ever encountered. We booked a room at this establishment one year in advance for an event and were met with an experience far from satisfactory. From check-in to check-out, the situation was consistently problematic. We had booked a week-long stay, but our actual stay was less than 24 hours. The room was in a deplorable state. It lacked air conditioning, as the temperature never dropped below 76 degrees. The shower alternated between extremely hot and lukewarm water, with no cold option available. Bugs were present in the curtains and on the ceiling. The floor was covered in dirt and debris, and the cabinetry, floor, and walls were stained with an unpleasant brown grime. An exterior door was installed in our room instead of a window. There was also visible water damage on the walls and ceilings, and the ceiling was leaking due to the installation of the air conditioning vent, which I believe caused the water damage. The elevators were non-functional, and there was no stairwell to the lobby, forcing us to use the employee elevator, which was located in a very dirty corridor. To add insult to injury, there was mold in our blankets. Do not consider staying at this establishment. It will undoubtedly be the most regrettable decision you make. Our vacation was severely ruined due to the misleading images used in their room marketing, which depicted a far superior condition than the reality we experienced. You deserve better, your families deserve better, and this establishment needs to be shut down. When presented with the images of our moldy blanket, Lamonica displayed a rude and dismissive attitude towards our concerns. The other staff members we interacted with were pleasant and accommodating. Please take the time to research and choose an alternative accommodation. A tent outside would have been preferable to this establishment.
this place has taken a turn for the worse. years ago, this was one of the best places to stay. now? hilton should be embarrassed this place is associated with them. elevators consistently out of service. walls are paper thin so you hear everything your neighbors talk about. pool drained for months now and resembles a dumpster. the front desk staff and bar staff were the only positives about this place and the location is great, but wow, this place should be shuttered and start over.
Went here 6/2026 and the only thing that works is your credit card!! Had to use the service elevator while time we stayed here. No roof top no pool.. the rooms very outdated. But had a great time at the wedding I attended post office!
Nothing. Went to check in on a reservation that was made with USAA trvel. The front desk attendant took my identification and asked me to³ wait when she returns she calls a.manger to tell me that she didnt see a reservation in my name. Additiinally he was no help either.
I have never. Traveling from the opposite coast so I arrived very late at night. The location is nice. The lobby looked decent. One of the elevators was broken and the other two were very slow to arrive. Between the elevators and the hallways, I could tell that the hotel could use maintenance and care. At first, the room didn't seem bad. I had a long day and I needed to adjust to the different time zone. Then, I saw it. I hoped it was a cricket at first. Being near the river, I thought it was a water bug unique to Virginia. Google told me what I was afraid it was: a cockroach. Not just that, but based on the photo, Google identified it as a PREGNANT cockroach. I was supposed to stay two nights, but there's no way. I've traveled multiple times a month for over 5 years, I have never. I doubt I will return to Virginia in the near future, but this hotel was immediately added to my "Stay Away" list. I'm so thankful I bring my own towels and sheets.
The DJ in the lobby bar at check in didn't fit the elevated boutique vibe we expected. We didn't mind it but I could see it bothering other guests. The pool wasn't open though it was after memorial day. We were given an ADA room. We used a gift certificate but the hotel also wasn't busy so I'm sure there were other rooms available. Left our pillow in the room but no one could locate it when we called the following day so not a good sign. The crack in the bottom of the room door was thick enough to let light in at night so the room wasn't dark when sleeping. Body wash wasn't replenished in the shower so I had to use the shampoo. Service was fine. Location was nice in regards to walking around the corner to several restaurant options.
