2nd Annual phxPRIDE Community UNITY 5K
About the event
We’re just under 1 month from the 2nd Annual phxPRIDE Community UNITY 5K – so let’s reveal our Community Co-Chairs!
Audrey Corley is a Phoenix-based entrepreneur, community advocate, and former basketball coach whose work is rooted in connection, inclusion, and empowerment, and Laura Pastor is a fifth-generation Arizonan who has served on the Phoenix City Council since 2014, representing District 4.
Audrey owns Boycott Bar, a longtime LGBTQ+ gathering place in Phoenix, and Dahlia Tapas, Tequila & Wine, and co-founded Title 9 Sports Grill, a space that celebrates women athletes. As co-chair of the phxPRIDE Community Unity 5K, Audrey brings her passion for community and inclusion to an event that celebrates movement, connection, and the strength of coming together for a shared purpose.
Councilwoman Pastor co-chairs the Fast-Track Cities Ad Hoc Committee, advancing the city's goal of ending the HIV epidemic by 2030, and serves on the Workforce Ad Hoc Committee. Laura is also the Community Liaison at Phoenix College, connecting residents with learning, workforce development, and civic engagement opportunities. She has served on the Encanto Village Planning Committee and the Hispanic Advisory Board of Maricopa Community Colleges.
We’re so grateful to Audrey and Councilwoman Pastor for lending your leadership to this year’s 5k!
For the 45th Anniversary of phxPRIDE, our goal is for 450 participants to collectively raise $45,000, and with your help, we know it’s possible.
Here’s how:
1. Register your team or join a team!
2. Raise or donate $100
3. Join us in person or virtually for our 5K!
Last year, 387 people registered, so we know we can do this!

About the venue
Charlie's Phoenix is a gay bar on West Camelback Road built around country-western dancing. Expect a dance floor, line dancing and two-step, cowboy hats on some of the regulars, and a crowd that skews older early on and gets younger and busier later at night…
“Fun place. Cheap drinks, fun karaoke, good food, and line dancing.” — Shane Datzman, Google
“A place where everyone is safe and welcomed. Friendly staff and many different events always going on and drink specials. Definitely recommend this place to bring your friends” — Lily Rodriguez, Google
