The Campbell Hotel

Not only is The Campbell Hotel a gorgeous historic space filled with beautifully curated rooms, but what truly sets this wonderful boutique hotel apart from all others, is the staff. Though my stay was only for two nights, it was highly improved by the thoughtfulness and consideration of Gabriel who was faced with various challenges. He handled each encounter with grace and patience, making sure each visitor was informed of updates and setting their minds at ease until a solution was acquired. Thank you, Gabriel and Campbell Hotel, for such a lovely stay!

Very cool old hotel in Tulsa. The front desk person was super friendly but when the owner thought I was a homeless person that kinda pissed me off. He followed me into the hotel and ask if I was staying there and what room I was in. Also no pet friendly places nearby to eat or grab a drink. The area around the hotel looks sort of sketchy too.

The Campbell Hotel was previously known as the Casa Loma Hotel located in the Max Campbell Building at the end of the trolley line that ran from downtown to Delaware Avenue on 11th Street. It reopened in 2011 as a luxury hotel and event center with a very rustic western-themed décor. It has been beautifully restored and was a fun and exceptionally comfortable place to stay. The area is not the absolute best, but what area is? Never felt unsafe and it truly felt like we had taken a step back in time. The place is on the National Register of Historic Places and should be experienced when staying in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Great historic place to relax and chill. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary stay.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road, my evening at The Campbell Hotel was quite pleasant. Don’t be fooled by the exterior of the building as the inside reflects the historic ambiance indicative of the hotel.

Great place on our Rt 66 adventure 😀

Not impressed at all. The nice interior of the hotel was the only positive. The rooms have no noise privacy at all. It was so loud. There are very large gaps underneath the doors to the common area, so all of the guests can clearly hear each other within their rooms. My partner and I did not feel comfortable being romantic as a result. It also made it a lot more difficult to sleep when you can hear guests late at night with their luggages, the elevator, and talking or coughing. The front desk receptionist lacked hospitality. They were very quick and dismissive, which did not make us feel like welcomed guests. They made us feel like an after-thought. They smiled at us, so it seems that they were nice but lacked the customer service skills that are appropriate for a nicer hotel. The bathroom shower was so awkward. Im summary, this hotel would have been fine if it were $70. However, it is $140 minimum per night, which is more expensive than a lot of other hotels. I would have had a better experience at a cheaper hotel.

Had high hopes for a historic hotel that appeared to have mid-western motifs. Thee rooms were meh, nice but could have been nicer. Retro baths looks nice but let water everywhere when showering and some water damage was visible even in the bedroom side of the wall. It was comfortable otherwise. Had nightly issues with key cards jt working too for some reason. the breakfast was meager. Keurig coffee maker with a plethora of flavorings but only some Sara Lee muffins with no spreads. There was a decxent place called Sweetie Pies across the street for breakfast tho. I wish the hotel management would had an arrangement with them to cater their breakfasts. Also the bar was always closed early too. It's also not central to anything and in Tulsa and I spent a small fortune on Ubers. Was anticipating my stay but left a bit disappointed. I chose the place for its ambience in the pics and spent a little extra for the experience, but it overall fell a bit short of the mark. Its was still somewhat cool because it was historic, but not so much to stay there again.

If you want a bit of nostalgia, this is a must stay. The room was comfortable in every way especially the be.

The Campbell was absolutely gorgeous after the Designer Showcase finished with it back in the day. Sadly, it has been badly let go. Furnishings don’t get replaced. We stayed in room 223 last weekend. We saw peeling trim paint, along with cracked tile, exposed wires,. and a dirty rug that I kept tripping on because the corner had worked its way loose from the rug pad. It was just sad to see how little care and attention the place was getting. This is no longer an “upscale boutique hotel”. Basic maintenance is not happening in the rooms, our whole room just looked dingy and tired.
