Beyond the Binary | Trans & Non-Binary Night – Mel
About the event
This one’s for the dolls, the thems, the theys, the he/they/she/xe icons, and everyone living beautifully beyond the binary. 🏳️⚧️💗✨
Our Trans & Non-Binary Social Night is back, and this time we’re heading to Glou for a cosy Tuesday evening of good drinks, easy chats, and some much-needed community time.
This is a relaxed, connection-first social night designed specifically for our trans, non-binary, gender-diverse, and questioning members to meet new people, build friendships, and spend time in a space that feels affirming, welcoming, and genuinely comfortable.
You are welcome here no matter where you are in your journey. Whether you’re newly questioning, quietly exploring your identity, early in transition, years into it, or anywhere in between, you belong in this space.
No explaining yourself.
No educating strangers.
No being the only one in the room.
Just good drinks, genuine conversation, and a group of people who understand the importance of having community around you.
We’ll be gathering at Glou, a cosy wine bar in Collingwood that’s perfect for a relaxed midweek catch-up. Think intimate lighting, a drink in hand, and the kind of atmosphere where you can actually hear each other without shouting over a dance floor.
Adeline will be there from 7pm to welcome everyone, make introductions, and help you settle in. Coming solo? Perfect! Most of our members do, and there’s absolutely no expectation to arrive knowing anyone.
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply enjoy an evening surrounded by other trans and gender-diverse people, this one’s for you.
There’s no pressure to drink alcohol, share your personal experiences, or present yourself in any particular way. Come in whatever gender expression feels right for you that day, and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
This isn’t a club night. It’s community.
Come solo. Come with stories. Come exactly as you are. 💗
