Midweek Good Company | Queer Bipoc Social – Mel
About the event
Good drinks, great company, and a little BIPOC queer magic. 🌈🤎✨
Our BIPOC Queer Social Night is back, and we’re getting together at Brick Lane Market for a relaxed Tuesday evening of good conversation, new friendships, and some much-needed community time.
This one’s for our Black, Indigenous and People of Colour LGBTQIA+ members who want to connect with others, share experiences, and enjoy an evening in a space where their identities are celebrated and understood.
Because while we love bringing the whole queer community together, we also know how important it is to have spaces where you can connect with people who understand the intersections of culture, identity, and queerness.
No explaining your culture. No feeling like the only one in the room. No pressure to be anything other than yourself.
Just a welcoming group of people, easy conversation, and the chance to build genuine friendships with other BIPOC queer members.
We’re keeping things casual and connection-first. Think a drink in hand, a few laughs, stories shared across the table, and those lovely moments when you meet someone new and realise you’ve got far more in common than you expected.
Whether you’re looking to expand your social circle, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply spend an evening surrounded by other queer people of colour, this one’s for you.
Coming solo? Perfect! Most of our members do, and there’s absolutely no expectation to arrive knowing anyone. We’ll help everyone settle in, make introductions, and get the conversation flowing naturally.
There’s no pressure to drink alcohol, share personal experiences, or speak on behalf of your culture or community. You’re here to socialise, make connections, and enjoy yourself, not to educate anyone.
And if you’re attending your first Gay Social Club event, this is a lovely way to get started. A relaxed setting, friendly faces, and plenty of time to get to know people at your own pace.
Your culture. Your queerness. Your community. All welcome at the table. 🤎
Come solo. Come with stories. Come exactly as you are.

Whether you’re gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, questioning, or identify anywhere else under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, you’re welcome in this space.
You don’t need to share your background, explain your identity, or have any particular experiences to belong here.
