About the venue
Le Coxx is a gay bar on Rue Jules Latreilhe in the Saint-Roch side of the old centre. It opened after the Villa Rouge club closed in 2017 (Le Bonbon), and Travel Gay lists it as popular with gay men, open daily from 6pm to 1am. The bar has two levels with stone walls and a terrace…
“My favourite go-to bar whenever my gay friends are visiting! It is always fun to come here, and people are generally nice and welcoming. The cocktails are good and strong (just how it should be lol). It is now slowly becoming a routine for us to come here whenever we just want to have a fun night out. I dream of bringing my mom here. Haha!” — Abby Rosales, Google
“For me, one of the best places in Montpellier, the whole team gives you a fantastic welcome. You feel the same warmth from both the staff and the regular customers! A superb place to have a quiet drink during the week or wonderful evenings on the weekend.” — Dylan Bellet, Google
