About the event
Every year in November – perfect for the autumn weather – Bern transforms into a center of queer film culture: Queersicht, the oldest LGBTIQA+ film festival in Switzerland, brings people together to celebrate queer filmmaking, diversity, and visibility. For seven days, films from all over the world are shown in various cinemas in Bern's city center. This year there is a very special reason to celebrate: Queersicht is turning 30! Three decades of queer cinema, encounters, stories, and shared nights want to be duly celebrated. For our anniversary party, we are moving to the Dachstock of the Reitschule. Together we celebrate 30 years of Queersicht – with a night full of dance and beats from Disco Shorley, knabber_hans, unnova & Popy Caste, and 36birds. And because 30 years deserve to be celebrated properly, there is an anniversary surprise on top with a drag performance by Striking Dyke & JoDyKing! Here's to the next 30 years!
