All practices are supervised by an experienced member of the Tension team who can answer your questions about rope, safety, and the studio. Just ask!

Who is it for?
Everyone! All levels and all styles! If you're new to the community and curious, this is the perfect place to meet other enthusiasts and observe some tying. You'll be in a safe environment, supervised by competent and experienced individuals.

What is this event like?
In a zen and relaxing environment, attendees can tie, watch rope scenes, chat, practice, and ask questions about Tension and rope bondage in general. Everyone is invited to experience shibari in their own way, without pressure. We play soft music, and offer water and sometimes tea at each practice. What do I need?
Nothing. Bring your enthusiasm and curiosity! If you have ropes, bring them too!

Additional information for Tension students
If you are currently taking classes at Tension, the supervisor will be happy to check your techniques and offer some corrections (on the TK, for example).
