Vote Center at The San Diego LGBT Community Center
About the event
Dear Pride Family,
Pride Week fills our streets with color, music, and queer joy. Now we’re asking you to carry that spirit one step further, into the ballot box.
Pride has always been about more than celebration. It is rooted in civic engagement, collective action, and the belief that our voices can create change, challenge injustice, and combat hate. Generations of LGBTQ+ people fought for the rights and visibility we have today, and we can’t take that progress for granted. The fight continues, and we will not back down. Efforts to make voting harder are a reminder of just how powerful your vote is.
Make your plan to vote
Your ballot is already in your mailbox. Under state law, vote-by-mail ballots are sent to every active registered voter. You can mail it back, drop it off at a ballot drop-off location, or drop it off at any vote center in San Diego County.
Want the full rainbow experience? Vote at The Center.
The San Diego LGBT Community Center (3909 Centre St.) will be a four-day vote center for the Midterm General Election. It’s a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ and allied folks to cast their ballots, and many San Diegans make the trip just for the experience. Drop off your ballot or vote in person, and you’ll leave with the iconic rainbow “I VOTED” sticker.
Vote Center Hours
Saturday, Oct. 31 – Monday, Nov. 2: 8 am–5 pm
Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3: 7 am–8 pm
