About this place The Cama Hotel

The Cama is an old-established hotel on Khanpur Road, on the east bank of the Sabarmati facing the riverfront promenade, at the edge of the walled city. That makes it one of the few comfortable hotels within reach of the old city sights, Bhadra Fort and the pols. Google reviewers give it 4.1 from about 5,100 reviews, with the usual mix of praise for the location and complaints about dated rooms. Booking listings were updated in 2025 and the hotel's site is live. Mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.

A Hotel with an old, classic charm yet modern, elegant, comfortable. Big, spacious rooms, this actually came as a surprise to me. Beautiful sunset view, Sabarmati Riverfront view. Quite economical, budget friendly Hotel with all basic amenities, services in place. Overall a very comfortable Hotel to stay.
