We had a wonderful stay! Our rooms were very clean and the employees are very friendly. The area it’s in is also very conveniently placed in Old Quarter!

The hotel is very well located, and the staff is wonderful. We arrived early and were upgraded to an earlier room. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was peaceful and delicious! I highly recommend it :)

The attendants are so hospitable, helpful, friendly, and suggested shops nearby.

Great stay at Golden Rooster Hotel! The location is perfect in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a cozy, comfortable, affordable stay in Hanoi's heart, this probably is it. The hotel staff is great and is always willing to help out. The entrance has a comfortable seating area and you can drop your bags if your check in is later. The dining area is limited but well managed. The cabinets double up as buffet tables at meal times and the staff sets up a travel desk in the dining area when it's not meal time - I felt it was super efficient. The cabinets also go back to being just cabinets when there's no meal time - again super efficient and great use of space. The corridors leading up to the room are thin and your first impression might not be too great but it's safe and the rooms are just fine. They're not too big and ours didn't have an outlet like a window but they are clean and well kept. The ACs work great and the washrooms are regularly cleaned and we encountered no problems with the rooms The location is the best part. Walk out the main entrance and you're on the streets of Hanoi with everything at a stone's throw distance. I think it's a good option to consider when travelling to Hanoi :)

We spent several nights at this hotel during our trip to Vietnam. We were always warmly welcomed and were upgraded twice. The breakfast is plentiful with plenty of choice. We were able to leave our luggage there during our stays in Sapa and Ninh Binh. They even allowed us to shower before our evening flight. Highly recommended! 😀😀😀 Thank you to the team for their professionalism.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The Golden Rooster truly became our home away from home throughout our journey in Vietnam — the place where we started, returned to in between, and where we ended our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything easy and memorable for us. They gave us amazing recommendations for places to explore and the best local food spots, helped organize our travel plans, booked flights and bus tickets for us without any hassle, and were always ready to help no matter the situation. At one point, when my friends were close to missing their flight home, the staff jumped in immediately, helped sort everything out, and made sure they got to the airport in time. They also arranged transport for me afterwards when I stayed on a bit longer. What stood out most was how genuinely kind and caring everyone was. On my last day, I was still desperately trying to buy some final mangoes to take home for friends before running out of time. One of the staff members kindly took me on the back of his motorbike to the market so we could quickly grab them before heading back and sending me off to the airport. It’s one of those small moments I’ll never forget. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming, but it was really the people who made this place so special. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin and end my Vietnam adventure. Highly, highly recommend The Golden Rooster to anyone visiting Vietnam.

Everything was fantastic, very central location, we stayed in a family room, the rooms were clean, the staff was always helpful and friendly, only advice... breakfast could be improved, there is not much choice especially for those who don't eat savory foods.

The hotel is centrally located in old quarters, so you can go around the city and explore places, restaurants and cafés. We reach hotel early morning, off course the room was not ready for us to early check in. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful in explaining us everything about the hotel. She also handed us city map and explained us places we can visit during the day which was nearby and easily walkable. When we came back to the hotel in the afternoon to check in and relax for few hours, to our surprise, the hotel had upgraded our room, which made my wife very happy. The room was very spacious and very clean, even the bathroom too. This was more than we had expected. Hotel also can book day trips for Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, which can be very convenient. We booked out Ninh Binh trip through them. They also can help to book Bus tickets which is much more convenient, unless you know the local language with this, the pick up and drop off location can be from the hotel, which might not be possible, if you book on your own due to language barrier. I booked my return bus through them and witness this change. We had been in an out of the city, so we stayed in the hotel in different intervals. Our experience at the hotel each time was amazing. The Hotel staff was very helpful in keeping our bigger bags at the hotel, so we can take our small luggage in our smaller trip. This made our life much easier to go around. Hotel also have decent breakfast option. It does not have very wide spread, but enough to keep you fed and start your day. Hotel also provide complimentary snacks, Tea and coffee at the lobby area. There are many restaurants, cafes, and convenience store around the corner, so you will have many options to choose from. You can have a foot massage at the end of the day after walking around the city, which is few hundred metres away from the hotel. All and all our experience at the hotel was very fulfilling and I highly recommend this Hotel in case if you’re coming to Hanoi city.

Great value for the price! We had the suite on the 7th floor with a private terrace of about 24 square meters.
