We’re heading to Mollie’s Bar & Diner in Fitzroy for a Wednesday night of Drag Bingo, where the numbers are flying, the queens are serving, and the competition is just a little bit fabulous.
Think outrageous drag queen antics, plenty of laughs, prizes up for grabs, and a room full of queers collectively losing their minds over a bingo card. Who knew a game usually associated with your nan could be this camp?
Mollie’s is home to one of Melbourne’s longest-running drag bingo nights, with fabulous rotating hostesses, plenty of cheeky banter, and absolutely no guarantee you’ll leave with your dignity intact.
We’ll meet at 7:30pm, giving everyone time to grab a drink, settle in, and get to know each other before bingo kicks off at 8pm.
Megan will be there to welcome everyone, make introductions, and get the gang together. Whether you’re a bingo professional with a lucky dabber or someone who hasn’t played since primary school, you’re in good company.
And if you’re coming solo? Perfect! Most of our members do. Having a game to play together makes this one of the easiest ways to meet new people. There’s always something to laugh about, someone to cheer on, and inevitably someone who’s convinced they were one number away from winning.
The best part? Bingo is completely free to play, so all you need to bring is yourself, your competitive spirit (optional), and perhaps a little luck.
Come for the bingo. Stay for the queens. Leave with some new mates and a newfound appreciation for the number 69.
