This class introduces couples with no (or lots of!) Shibari experience to the techniques, frictions, and essential concepts needed to play with rope in a safe(r) manner, together. You'll get the same physical and emotional safety foundation as our 3-hour Fundamentals, plus an extra 1.5 hours dedicated to connection and partnered tying.

You'll learn:

— A single column tie (also called boola boola)
— The base structure of a futomomo (around which knots and frictions are applied)
— Safe placement, tension, and adjustment
— Safety fundamentals: physical risks, communication, consent, negotiation
— How to lead your partner, wrap and move together
— Common tools used in rope bondage

A fun, engaging, and technical class that gives you the foundation to practice rope more safely, as a couple.

What we expect from students

— Arrive prepared, rested, and ready to learn
— Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to bend your leg
— Be attentive, respectful, and follow safety instructions
— Read the class details with your partner…
