The working week is DONE, the out-of-office is practically on, and the only thing left on your to-do list is a well-deserved drink with the gays.
We’re heading to Emerald Peacock for our monthly Friday Knock-Off Drinks, and honestly, is there a better way to kick off the weekend than a rooftop bar, a cocktail in hand, and a room full of fabulous people?
Think after-work drinks, easy conversation, a little Friday night mischief, and the kind of catch-up that starts with “I’ll just stay for one” and somehow turns into making plans for the rest of the weekend.
Whether you’ve had the longest week of your life, are fresh off the clock, or simply need an excuse to get out of the house and be social, we’ve got you covered.
We’ll be getting together from 6pm, with Adrian there to welcome everyone, make introductions, and help you settle in. No awkward standing around wondering who to talk to, no need to arrive with a friendship group, and absolutely no pressure to be the loudest person in the room.
Coming solo? Perfect! Most of our members do. That’s the whole point of these nights: bringing together people who want to meet new mates, have a laugh, and build their queer community without all the awkwardness of figuring out where to start.
And the best part? There’s no agenda. No organised activities. No forced icebreakers. Just good drinks, great company, and plenty of opportunities to get to know each other.
Grab a cocktail, a mocktail, or whatever tickles your fancy. Stay for one drink or settle in for the evening. Friday nights are for doing whatever makes you happy, babe.
