Opa, babes! We’re taking dinner club to the Greek islands. 🇬🇷🍋✨
Well, almost. We’re heading to Afloat, Melbourne’s floating bar and restaurant on the Yarra, for a Greek-inspired evening of good food, gorgeous riverside views, and even better company.
Our Global Dinner Club is back, and this month we’re serving Mediterranean summer energy without the airfare. Think delicious Greek flavours, a drink in hand, warm evening vibes, and a table full of queers ready for a proper catch-up.
Because honestly, what’s better than sitting down to a good meal with people who might just become your new favourite dinner dates?
Whether you’re a self-appointed Greek food connoisseur, someone who simply loves an excuse to eat out, or a member who’s been meaning to come along to their first event, this one’s for you.
We’ll meet at 7pm, with Adeline there to welcome everyone, make introductions, and get everyone settled around the table. No awkward standing around wondering who to talk to, and definitely no need to bring a friend along for moral support.
Coming solo? Perfect! Most of our members do, and dinner club is one of the easiest ways to meet new people. There’s something about sharing a meal that makes conversation flow naturally, whether you’re swapping travel stories, debating your favourite dishes, or discovering you’ve got far more in common than you expected.
And while the Greek-inspired menu might be the excuse to get together, the real reason we’re here is community. A chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy an evening with other LGBTQIA+ people in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Come hungry, bring your best dinner-table conversation, and prepare for a little taste of the Mediterranean right here in Melbourne.
