We’re heading back to Glou for a cosy evening of good wine, great conversation, and some very fabulous company. Because honestly, is there anything better than a little midweek wine night with your favourite queers?
Think intimate wine bar vibes, a glass of something delicious, a few cheeky laughs, and the kind of catch-up that starts with “I’ll just stay for one” and somehow turns into making plans for the entire weekend.
Our Gay Social Club Wine Night is all about slowing down, getting together, and making genuine connections over a drink (or something alcohol-free, of course!).
And don’t worry, babes, this is NOT a wine appreciation masterclass. Nobody’s asking you to identify the tasting notes, discuss the vintage, or pretend you can detect hints of oak and freshly cut grass.
If your wine review is simply “Mmm, that’s nice”, you’re amongst friends.
We’re gathering at Glou, a cosy little wine bar in Collingwood that’s perfect for a relaxed Thursday evening. Expect warm lighting, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of opportunity to actually hear each other talk.
Coming solo? PERFECT! Most of our members do, and that’s exactly what makes these nights so special. You’ll be welcomed into the group, introduced to other members, and given plenty of opportunity to settle in and get chatting.
Whether you’re brand new to Melbourne Gay Social Club, looking to meet some new mates, or just keen for a cheeky Thursday wine with familiar faces, there’s always room for another fabulous human at the table.
And if wine isn’t your thing? No worries at all. Grab a soft drink, something sparkling, or whatever takes your fancy. The drinks are just the excuse; the real reason we’re here is community.
Good wine is optional. Good company is guaranteed.
