Did you find out your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? It's not easy for you to accept, and you're looking for a way to cope, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them?
We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you're going through with others in a similar situation. You can be inspired or even discover new approaches. The meetings will be led by a psychologist and a therapist who have extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.
A classic support group is intended for a maximum of 12 people and will meet once a month. Details will be provided to registered participants.
We currently have three runs of the parent group going – one group is led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, the second by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and the third, which is online, is led by Irena Smetáčková and Adam Šindelář. After registering for the group, one of the group leaders will contact you, depending on available spots in the groups.
Participation in the group is free.
