KiezTour Nollendorfplatz: History Tour with Drag Guides

The queer city tour in Berlin Embark on a roughly 3-hour discovery tour through Europe's oldest queer Kiez in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg. Our KiezTour Nollendorfplatz: History Tour with Drag Guides is aimed at all Berliners, newcomers, and visitors to Berlin who want to get to know the over 140-year history of the rainbow Kiez in an entertaining way. Together we will explore legendary venues and follow the traces of queer history – from the beginnings of the first German queer emancipation movement through the Golden Twenties and the Nazi era to the present day. We will encounter the people, places, and events that have shaped the Nollendorf Kiez and continue to make it an important space of refuge and freedom for the queer community. Our guides are well-known Berlin drag queens who were either baptized with Spree water or have been closely associated with the Kiez for many years: Margot Schlönzke, Anna Klatsche, Victoria Bacon, or Helen de Nore will competently guide you through the Kiez. They tell stories that are not found in any history book and convey history with humor, heart, and personal insights. This tour is conducted in German.
