Superzart* Against Loneliness

The »SUPERZART Festival« invites you. 12 hours. 2 stages. At the grand festival »SUPERZART against Loneliness«, artists and thinkers come together to paint utopias with ruthless naivety and radical concreteness. What could a self-determined, free, and just world for ALL look like? How can we rethink our coexistence to strengthen structures against the isolation and loneliness of society in sustainable connection. »SUPERZART« will examine the topic of loneliness artistically, musically, scientifically, sociologically, psychologically, and activistly in order to jointly search for constructive, sustainable ways out of fear, shame, and isolation. How could it happen that we have organized our society in such a way that so many people suffer from isolation? The WHO has classified loneliness as a global health risk, as every sixth person in the world is lonely and the risk of strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and suicide increases. We live in a patriarchal, capitalist, and heteronormative society that structures our coexistence. The focus on small and nuclear families and romantic partnerships often leads to isolation. It also generates a hardly questioned construct of care by women, who take responsibility for all care work.
