Stop the criminalisation of the LGBTI+ Movement in Turkey

The queer movement in Turkey is being criminalized - we stand against it with solidarity.

Since September 12, 2026, Turkey's queer-hostile policy has gained massive momentum: queer organizations nationwide have been searched, equipment confiscated, accounts blocked, social media access blocked. Dozens of individuals have been arrested. Criminal investigations have been initiated against 160 activists. The protests that followed were also brutally suppressed, with numerous arrests.

On October 12, it will be one month, and many of the activists are still in prison. As in many other cities worldwide, we are coming together this Monday to show our solidarity. Show our grief, our anger, and state our demands.
